Man, the last month has been busy! Maker Faire was so fantastic with so much to see that it's taken me a while to go through all the pictures. Here's a small sampler of what was at Maker Faire:
Cardboard composite surfboards-
3d printers-
Steampunk bands-
Folks with mechanical faun legs-
And robot builders of all sorts-
It was definitely worth going to, and I think I'll go next year.
I'm a kitchen and bathroom remodeler/ handyman in Fort Collins, CO. A couple years back, I built and lived in a yurt. It was made entirely of recycled materials. It was glorious. After nearly three years, and with great reluctance, I packed up the yurt and reintegrated into "civilized" society.
These days I'm mostly working and educating myself about alternative homebuilding. I'm passionate about sustainable living, energy independence, and good beer.
